An amazing evening at the prestigious annual Cleaning Excellence Awards saw the EcoTech team pick up a Highly Commended award in the Sustainable Company of the Year category.
The EcoTech team made the short journey to the CBS Arena in anticipation of a superb event and were not disappointed as the Cleaning Matters team put on a glittering evening of food, wine and partying, with the chance to relax and catch up with old contacts and make new ones.
The announcement of the award winners was of course the highlight – and we were delighted to learn that we were Highly Commended against some very strong competition from across the UK.
Independent recognition from one’s peers in the cleaning sector is always gratifying – and shows clearly the progress and leadership we are making in sustainability across our business.
That doesn’t mean we’ll be resting on our laurels – there is always more to do, and our plans in this area remain ambitious.
Having got to a point where we’re not now sending any waste to landfill, we’ll continue to review our manufacturing processes, and the materials we use, to maximise recycling and minimise our impact on the planet.
