Foodbank Donation 2020

Over the last couple of months, we have been having a clear out! Our shelves had gotten a little full with old batch samples, so we decided we needed to clear some space. Rather than simply throw them away, we wondered how we could put them to good use. We asked our team members if they would make a small donation for them to use at home and in return, we would donate all the proceeds to a good cause. 

We want to say a HUGE thank you to our team, who did not let us down - we raised £229 in total (and from products that would otherwise have been binned, we thought that was pretty decent!). 

We took a couple of the ladies down to Sainsburys, where they did a big shop - we need to say a big THANK YOU to Sainsbury's, who gave us a £50 voucher to add to our food spend. The girls came away with 2 trolleys full of food and drink desperately needed by the local Coventry Foodbank. We took them down to St. Oswald's Church where they happily donated everything they had bought.

Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day 2020

On Friday 11th December, we took part in Christmas Jumper Day 2020 in support of Save The Children. We asked all of our team to get into the Christmas spirit - everyone here has worked absolutely tirelessly through the biggest period of demand we have ever seen for our products, so we thought we'd lift their spirits a little by adding a bit of fun whilst fundraising at the same time - win win!

The staff donned their Christmas jumpers with one in particular who went just that bit further - check out the pictures below! All who took part were also involved in the Sweepstakes, where Coach Christmas picked his favourite Christmas song and the team each had a guess as to which one they thought it was. The winner was announced that afternoon (for those of you who are curious, it was I'm Still Standing by Elfon John!).

The company also held a raffle with 3 prizes and added all the proceeds from that to the Save The Children donation. Not only that, but they also agreed to match all the money raised! In total, we donated over £500 to Save The Children, which is fantastic for a small team! So we'd like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all who took part and got into the Christmas spirit.
